MY CU EXPERIENCE
My journey in CU (Covenant University) started on the 30th of September, 2023. I arrived in Covenant University on a sunny afternoon and had to wait in line to be searched and registered. Things were a bit disorderly, but I was glad I was in Covenant University. After some long hours I finally got registered and left to my room.
When I got to my room I was completely drenched in sweat and I was looking for where i could relax. Immediately I got into the room the first thing I noticed was that the handles of the lockers had been removed and laid carelessly on the floor. The room was dirty and disorganized, I would hardly call it a room if you ask me. From the moment the high pedestal I put Covenant University on began to reduce, but I told my parents nothing because I didn't want to sound ungrateful after they had paid such a large sum as school fees.
The next day was Sunday, I put on my corporate wear and left for church at eight in the morning. The service was alright I felt good during it and I enjoyed it. After the service I tried socializing with my roommates, we introduced ourselves and all became friends. On Monday we began our week long Orientation, it seemed fun at first but going on it was anything but fun. Few hours into the orientation you'd see half of the students asleep, quarter of them not focused either using their devices or talking amongst one another. Personally I believe the orientation was a waste of time and effort because people already knew the major rules of Covenant University.
The following week we began lectures I was so excited to end that orientation, but little did I know on Monday I have classes from eight to ten and I was in for a hell of a day. It was very stressful but I survived. The rest of the week weren't as stressful. Eventually I settled down in Covenant University.
